We like for dance students to gain experience from many instructors, so our instructors do change from time to time. We encourage instructors to contact us if they are interested in teaching at Center Stage as well.
We will offer a host of beginning classes just for adults at various times during the year, and we will offer various classes for those that are more accomplished too, so if we don't have the class you're looking for check back with us later, or let us know about a class you've always wanted to take as we are always interested in adding new classes!
We offer opportunities for both children and adults to perform at theaters such as Hilo High and the Palace Theater.
We host events such as ballroom competitions, Salsa Nights, dance jams, dance movie nights and one time dance, theatre and exercise workshops--so check our Studio Announcements link for news of these events!
The ballet program is taught by former professional dancers with degrees in theater and dance. Since ballet provides a strong foundation for all dance, we highly encourage any child or adult who is serious about learning to dance to participate in our ballet program. Dance helps develop coordination, rhythm, strength, flexibility, memory and self discipline AND it's FUN!
