In Ballet II, your child will learn and improve on balance, rhythm, strength and foundational ballet steps and combinations while cooperating within a group. They will learn to warm up with a barre to introduce the building blocks of ballet.

With regular attendance, they can develop confidence and self discipline as they progress through the session, learning more complex steps and dance routines with time.

‍

By the end of the session, they will have a better understanding of ballet as an art form and hopefully an appreciation for dance in general.

Dress Code

Class leotard color is BLACK and will be incorporated into the costume for the performace. Class attire is ballet slippers, leotard and skirt (tights are optional). Please tie hair back into bun if possible. You may purchase ballet slippers and attire at the studio. Dance attire can also be found at Target and Walmart in Hilo, as well as online.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fee will be applied. Refunds cannot be given once the session begins. No class credits for Fall Session. Please email info@centerstagehilo.com to inquire about makeup classes.

Can't make it to class? Click here and fill out the form before the scheduled time to request a credit for another class. Requests made after the class occurs cannot be accommodated. We cannot offer refunds.

Parking

If there is no parking available in our parking lot, there is on-street parking on Kawili St, one block over from us, between Hinano St and Laukapu St. Please do not park at the church next door as they may tow your car.
